I was planning on getting back to posting after the first of the year but I recently received a heads up that Tumblr is planning on purging ALL adult content as of Dec. 17th. By “adult content this will include “… photos, videos, and GIFs of human genitalia, female-presenting nipples, and any media involving sex acts, including illustrations.”
Obviously I am opposed to this action by Tumblr. this site has served as a home and place of community for people to share the things that appeal to them in a way that is often just not possible in the “real” world. It has let people discover themselves, and that they might not be as alone as they otherwise might have thought. And yes, it’s allowed people to “get off” which is not and should never be a crime.
I cannot express the depth of my sadness that I feel at seeing this come to pass. All the friendships and camaraderie that have begun here. The single longest term, and emotionally significant relationship of my life began from a simple message exchanged through Tumblr after we had followed each other’s blogs fro a time and had seen something that neither of us would have dared allow to show in the “real” world.
I dearly hope that Tumblr will decide to alter it’s decision before Dec. 17th and allow these valuable and vibrant communities to continue to exist and flourish. But in the mean time I am going to be taking advantage of the option to export my blog that Tumblr is making available to try to save as much of my work as possible. here is the link if you wish to export your own blog… https://tumblr.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005118894-Export-your-blog
If anyone has come across an alternative website, that might fill the niche for adult and erotica based community the Tumblr is abandoning, please share it. I am sure that myself and thousands of other people would like to know.
Lastly, if we have EVER talked, and you would like to stay in touch please message me privately and I will be more than happy to share my e-mail address.
Good night, and good luck.

Phalluses at Buddhist Marakannon Temple
Fertility temple in Tawarayama Onsen, Japan. There is no way around it, it is a temple dedicated to phalli and they are everywhere in the forest surrounding the temple: some big, some in metal, some grotesque, some stylized in wood and some with very shiny heads. ^_^
Given the fact that Japan still has a low birth rate… maybe building penis statues isn’t the right path to improve fertility… :)
